Our Proposal

We were celebrating the new year while in NYC when Jesse proposed at 144th Street and Covenant Avenue. Random, right?? You see, my favorite movie was filmed there. I huddled up by the bulky stone staircase for as long as I could stand the cold, completely mesmerized. When I was ready to walk back to the subway, Jesse got down on one knee and proposed. He surprised the s**t out of me with the ring! (How didn’t I notice the box in his coat!?) Apparently, before almost knocking him into the base of the building, I squealed, “This is the best vacation ever!" I don’t remember that part as it was all such a blur! I was left without words, speechless.
